Very sharp and effective
Aside from maintaining them with a wand, they probably wont need sharpening for a long time
Balanced and extremely sharp
These knives are incredibly sharp, feel well balanced, and the wood handle is beautiful and a perfect fit.
I want to give these a 5 star, but the only protection they come with is for the tip of the blade ONLY!
While protecting the tip is absolutely a must, leaving the remaining (read entire) blade fully exposed can (is) dangerous. Makes zero sense.
For the price, I find it hard to believe that these can be beat. They're an order of magnitude nicer than most of the knives that'd been dragging through the kitchen for the last decade or so. They arrived nicely packaged, and very sharp. They feel sturdy, the weight balanced, the handles comfortable. Do they compare with the super high-end $100 knives? I don't know, I'm a poor and can't spend that kind of money on kitchen knives.
Wow... these knives are super sharp. I keep them in the original box is a safe drawer. They are not safe to be dumped in a silverware drawer. Not for new cook, children or elderly. Love the set but caution is advised. They are very sharp. I also have mesh gloves to protect hands from getting cut. Awesome quality.
